Despite long hours, Aubrie committed herself to personal growth. She pursued education in food, wine, and photography, squeezing in study sessions between shifts. Her hard work began to open doors. While working at The Benjamin Walls Gallery, she met Roger Downes, a fellow creative and visionary. The two connected over their shared passion for storytelling and artistry, forming a professional bond that would later shape both of their careers.
 

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Aubrie’s life, like so many others, was upended. With restaurants struggling to survive, she faced an uncertain future. Roger, now leading the fledgling Downes Media, saw her drive and potential. He offered her a role, knowing she could help shape the company’s future.
 

Aubrie embraced the opportunity, becoming Director of Food Photography. Drawing on her education and unrelenting passion, she elevated Downes Media’s approach to storytelling. Her ability to craft stunning visuals and her deep understanding of the food world set a new standard for the company’s creative work.
 

Under her influence, Downes Media grew from a small startup to a thriving creative agency. Aubrie’s work became synonymous with excellence, blending technical mastery with artistic flair. Her journey from bartender to creative leader exemplifies resilience, determination, and the power of following your passion.
